These seemingly unrelated elements share one thing in common: their ability to devastate the world we live on.

Producing excessive and high-end consumer goods demands enormous amounts of natural resources, often extracted unsustainably. Industries like fashion, technology, and luxury tourism significantly contribute to pollution, deforestation, and greenhouse gas emissions. The idea of “having more” and “living in excess” not only depletes the planet’s finite resources but also deepens inequality, as few enjoy this lifestyle while many suffer its consequences.
